About the Presenter, Erin Bruno
Erin Bruno, MA, is a recognized leader in Social-Emotional Learning (SEL), with over 30 years of experience shaping the field. As CEO of The Social Decision-Making Program (SDM)—a research-based, CASEL-recognized SEL initiative—she equips educators with
practical strategies to foster students' social-emotional growth.
A sought-after SEL consultant and school climate specialist, Erin partners with schools and organizations to cultivate safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environments that enhance student well-being and success. She also serves as an adjunct instructor for the Academy of Social and Emotional Learning at Rutgers University and teaches SEL at the University of California, Berkeley.
With a diverse background in theatre, mental health, and SEL, Erin brings a dynamic and engaging approach to her work. Passionate about positive youth development, she is committed to empowering young people with the tools they need to thrive and reach their fullest potential.
