Celebrate Family History Month this October! Discover practical strategies for beginning or advancing your genealogy research through this interactive workshop.

Learn strategies for refining your online searches (using both free and paid resources), building research plans that fit busy schedules, and developing legacy plans to share and preserve your hard work for future generations.
No research subscription is required to participate, though access may be helpful. Bring a laptop or tablet and get ready to explore your family’s history through guided instruction, Q&A, and hands-on practice. A bonus hour of personalized help will be available afterward for those who wish to stay and dig deeper.

About Carla
Carla Zimowsk is owner of AncestorTech® LLC, offering tech support for the family historian, and has been researching her own family history for over 30 years. Carla holds a Masters in Information Studies from Rutgers, a Certificate in Genealogical Research from Boston University, and has taught numerous courses on technology for genealogy. She is a member of the National Genealogical Society and the Association of Genealogy Professionals and has been published in the Chicago Genealogist.
